JAMES W. McCALLA
James was born in Houston, Texas, and has spent most of his life in Texas. He attended Trinity University in San Antonio on a Presidential Scholarship, and was a 4-year letterman on the varsity soccer squad.
James brings a wide variety of experiences to his legal career. After college, James served as an officer in the United States Navy, and spent time stationed in Florida, Washington and Virginia. After his military service James took the position of Head Men's Soccer and Head Men's Golf Coach for Hanover College in Indiana. During his time at Hanover, the soccer program set a new record for wins in a season.
James attended the University of Houston Law Center, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. His academic performance earned him entry into the Order of the Barons and the nationwide Order of the Coif. During law school, James interned with Yates Law Offices, and continued the relationship after graduation.
